关于采样 yamaha 共有如下几种

1．AWM Stereo Sampling
这是标准解释
Stereo Sampling Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation
Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation samples each instrument to generate a truly accurate sound, varying the volume and timbre of sound according to the touch on the keyboard.

下面两个是补充说明
Using the own AWM stereo sampling, sounds were recorded directly from a variety of instruments. Each of the voices is recorded in stereo, and thus faithfully replicates the sound and warmth of the original instrument.
When you play a key, what you hear is a "sample", or digital recording, of the same note on a high quality concert grand piano.

2．AWM Dynamic Stereo Sampling

Three-step Dynamic Stereo Sampling (DSS) Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation
Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) tone generation samples each instrument to generate a truly accurate sound, varying the volume and timbre of sound according to the touch on the keyboard. Three-step AWM takes this farther, to assure a warmer, more natural sound, with Dynamic Stereo Sampling (DSS) piano samples. These samples are recorded at different levels, from from loud to soft, so that differences in volume and timbre occur depending on how heavy or light the player's touch is. By using sound picked up by a microphone to create a "virtual soundboard," the keyboard assures an expansive, more natural sound.
大概就是说 AWM 已经很好了，但是 DSS 做的更好


还有以下 5个 特征 需要说明

2．Tone Generation: Number of Sampling Banks
3．Tone Generation: Stereo Sustain Samples
4．Tone Generation: Key-off Samples
5．Tone Generation: String Resonance

1．        Tone Generation: Number of Dynamic Steps 对于 AWM 都是 一
而 DSS 一般是3 ，也有少数 新机型 是 4。
我对 step的 理解 不是层，而是 步，就是根据不同的采样手段 要采样 几次。

2．        Tone Generation: Number of Sampling Banks
Bank 请高手 解释一下是什么 意思
一般是 30，高端数值为 50


3．Tone Generation: Stereo Sustain Samples
4．Tone Generation: Key-off Samples
5．Tone Generation: String Resonance

这3个 只对 DSS 有效
大概就是 持续采样、键弹起后采样 和 回音。也只有高端 会有

Stereo sustain samples, key-off samples and string resonance
Stereo sustain samples recreate the resonances of the strings and soundboard when the damper pedal is pressed. This resonance is one of the factors that gives a grand piano such a unique sound. Key-off samples provide the delicate sound keys make when they are released. String resonance samples provide the complex resonances that make acoustic piano sound so rich and full.

当然感觉还是要亲自去试试看。
