ix300是KORG推出的一款自动伴奏合成器，是KORG公司自动伴奏合成器中的主打产品，也是当时最优秀的自动伴奏合成器。ix300音色部分采用了KORG独有的AI2系统，16声部32复音，具有完善的EG系统，音色编辑能力强大。音序部分除提供自动伴奏所必须的基本声部外，还有标准16轨音序器系统，音色库和音序器都兼容GM。ix300具有完善的表演控制系统，键盘手感良好，外观大气。 与KORG公司的标准合成器（如M1、01W 等）相比，ix300的音色编排与它们略有区别。

The iX300's superb sound programs, musical Styles and SMF editing functions make creating
professional-sounding music a snap!

The iX300 includes one of the essentials for any type of music-a superb stereo-sampled piano
sound. Its rich array of additional sounds including organ, brass, strings, guitar, drum, and
percussion allows you complete freedom of musical expression.
The iX300 features Korgs acclaimed AI2 Synthesis System with a ROM area containing 192
sound programs and 25 drum programs, plus 128 GM sound programs and 1 GM drum
program. The RAM area contains 64 more sound programs and 2 drum programs, all fully
editable. What's more, in the Program mode you can modify the main parameters in real-time
as you play.

The iX300 includes a database stocked full of 108 different professional musical Styles. These
provide you with sophisticated musical backing performances that cover the full range of the
latest techno, club, rock, pop, ethnic and many other traditional styles. And every style is
recorded with the highest-quality professional-level musicality that you expect from Korg.

Add harmony and arrangements to your melodies and bass-notes with the iX300's interactive
functions. The Full Keyboard switch lets you immediately play a keyboard program over the
whole range of the keyboard, even in arrangements in which the lower part is normally muted,
even while backing accompaniment or Standard MIDI files are playing.
The Sound Hold function lets you sustain the left hand sound and bass note even while
automatic accompaniment is stopped, providing a great way to make a dramatic build-up
without rhythm at the beginning of a song.
Automatic accompaniment can be triggered by left hand chording, right hand chording or even
full keyboard playing to generate accompaniment from traditional piano performance. The
iX300 will scan the entire keyboard and determine the best chords and arrangements to add to
your playing.

Easily make your own music starting with readily available Standard MIDI File music data.
Play back SMF files directly from disk, or edit the files using realtime recording and event
edit functions in the Song Edit mode. Plus, writing your own songs is easy with the Interactive
Composition function, which automatically adds chord progressions to the melodies and
phrases you play.

The TO HOST (PC I/F) connector allows the iX300 to be connected directly to your computer
using just a single cable (sold separately). No external MIDI interface is required!

The iX300 is compatible with the Style and Arrangement data currently available for Korg
i-Series models and the Korg XC-3000if digital piano. This allows you to exchange data
between these instruments for even greater musical possibilities.
